FYI – you/your volunteers need to do the following screenings:
Background check – every 3 years
Faith & Conduct – every year
Confidentiality Agreement – every year
Child Safety Training – every 3 years
Driver’s Questionnaire – every 3 years
Work Crew Placement – UPDATE!
REMEMBER! For Work Crew, staff must submit a recommendation BEFORE the student applies (they will receive an application link after the recommendation has been submitted)
Here is a guide on how to get the Work Crew process going! You as a staff member will need to complete the recommendation – even if it if a volunteer leader who knows the student best. Sit down with or chat over the phone with the leader to complete the form.
Once the recommendation and student application has been received, only then, can we begin placing students. We will place in three rounds, to allow for the early birds to get appropriate camp dates and confirmations on their calendars!
Round 1 – January 28
*Due to new information about ATeam spots, and the opportunity for more WC spots, we will be placing some people starting 1/28 through 2/4. Some of your students may not get notified today, please do not worry and call Jeff or Emma with questions!*
Round 2 – February 11
Round 3 – March 2
*we will continue placing after March 2 as applications come in a spots are available*
Placing rounds ARE NOT a matter of who is more or less qualified, but rather a first come-first serve scenario.
Summer Staff
Summer Staff complete an application FIRST, and then a YL staff member can complete their recommendation. Camps handle Summer Staff placement directly.

WC/SS Stipend
The first step for the stipend program is to get the usual Work Crew or Summer Staff application submitted FIRST! If you are ready to apply for the stipend, please contact Jim and he will hook you up.
Peer to Peer Fundraising
Opt in for ‘Peer to Peer’ fundraising, or at least ask for more!
