Compliance – we are in this together!
You will have likely already heard from your supervisor about spending some time getting your leaders compliant and all screenings complete. Remember, this is a SAFETY ISSUE! We are not trying to make your lives difficult. This is important.
Emma is creating a spreadsheet that will help your areas move towards healthy compliance and will include your volunteer’s usernames and specific steps of how we can overcome roadblocks. You will receive this by the end of the week.
Please email Emma if you are already experiencing issues, or have certain people who are struggling. Your supervisor is also ready to lend a hand.

Money is available to help spark a volunteer movement! Do you have some potential leaders in your community who would like to attend a Leader Weekend before officially becoming a leader? Or are you planning on hosting a leader recruitment night? We can help you cover costs for any potential leader!

R1 + Camp Questions
Your area’s responsible camping party should have received your R1 contracts this week! R1 has a $50/spot nonrefundable commitment and is due January 15th. After R1, camps and the Division will begin the waitlist process.
Any questions regarding your camp weeks, waitlists, add/drops, etc should be sent to camp DIRECTLY! You do not need to go through the regional office to ask camp-specific questions. Contact BWolk@wfr.younglife.org for questions about WFR (Canyon and Creekside) AND for Malibu.
