Hot chocolate backpack! Unique contact work! Yay! Cool! Wow!
Want to be the coolest person on campus? GET A BACKPACK THAT SERVES DRINKS WOOHOO!!! There is currently 10 requests for backpacks across the region, and there is still time to get in on the fun!
COST: $600
PURPOSE: Hot chocolate on campus in the morning, Gatorade at track practice, whatever else you can dream up.
WHY?! Why not?! What cool and unique twist on contact work for the kids we serve. We will have a cool YL logo on all the backpacks as well.

Alumni Campaign
This week an email went out to or is going out to over 7,000 Young Life Alumni from our region. This includes past and present volunteers, staff, committee members, parents, and kids who went to camp (if we have their email addresses). We got this list from the Alumni & Friends department. We are asking people to fill out a survey that asks them if we can connect with them, what they are interested in learning more about, and then give local areas those names to have you all connect with them.
The Front Range Region did something similar in December and January with some really great results including over 200 people who said they wanted to be contacted by a local area to learn how they can be a part of Young Life in their community.

Work Crew for A-Team Training at Canyon!
Help A-Team Training run smoothly but serving on Work Crew for a few days!
Tuesday, March 5-Thursday, March 7.
The region will cover gas cost for the first 3 people who sign up (let us know if you signed up) and a $100 shopping spree in the Mercantile…HOT DOG!

WFR mini sessions now open to all staff!
We are looking for mini session coordinators to bring a minimum of 6 people with them for a food services team! This is open to any staff or friends of YL. Coordinator spots need to be filled ASAP, please reach out to Amber and spread the word.
If you would like to serve on a mini-session without being a coordinator, please reach out to Amber as well!
WFR Leave No Camper Behind Scholarship
- The scholarship has opened for applications! APPLY HERE!
- Early application bonus’ will not be applied anytime after March 1st, 2024 at 11:59PM.
- Please be specific of the financial need of the student coming to camp.
- Applications should be filled out by a leader, not a parent, preferably the leader bringing the student to camp.
- Each school is given the opportunity to receive 2 scholarships per school per camp trip with an additional Capernaum-only scholarship per school per camp trip.
- For example, if your area has kids coming from two different schools on the same camp trip, you can apply for two scholarships for each school for a total of 4 potential scholarships.
- YLVS trips are given the opportunity to receive 4 scholarships per area.
- Funds are deducted from your total camp cost and reflected on your invoice that is signed at camp.
